The Benefits of Burpees
Burpees is a callisthenic exercise. A burpee is a squat and push-up done in rapid succession. Burpees work through quick movement and use the weight of your own body. No training equipment is necessary.
A burpee is a full body workout that works your core, legs, arms, abs, buttocks and back muscles. Additionally, burpees are a great cardio workout. Doing burpees for 15 to 30 minutes is a very effective cardio workout as it keeps your heart rate near its maximum rate.
Burpees also increases your flexibility in your back, hips, legs and core. Burpees are an anaerobic, short burst, exercise that will help you lose weight and tone your body. Add burpees to your routine.
